Alexandra M. Stillman, Ph.D, MBA, MHA, MPH, MSCP
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Stillman has been conducting psychotherapy with individuals, couples and groups since 2000. Her primary interest is in the management of psychological concerns relating to medical illness. She has specific training in the areas of primary care, oncology, cardiac rehabilitation and chronic pain as well as in treating individuals with terminal illnesses. Dr. Stillman also works with individuals in demanding professions such as business executives, physicians, healthcare providers, law enforcement officers and firefighters in order to assist them in managing stress unique to their work and lives. Her approach relies on principles of Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic and Client-Centered Therapies to design an unique and flexible course of treatment for each person.

Dr. Stillman received her Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Health Psychology  in 2006. She also holds Master Degrees in Business Administration, Public Health and Healthcare Administration. Her Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology allows her to better understand the medication concerns of her patients and to communicate more effectively with physicians. She is, however, not able to prescribe medication under her license as a psychologist. She is a Member of the American Psychological Association and the American Academy of Bereavement. She is an Associate Member of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine.
